MJ’s Life-Changing Journey: From 39.3% to 30.4% Body Fat

Before joining Fitcom, MJ had always been curious about Muay Thai. She had heard it was intense, exhausting, and physically demanding, which made her both intrigued and hesitant. Around that time, she had just completed another personal challenge and suddenly had more free time. That was when she thought, “Why not give it a try?”

Beyond fitness, MJ had also been interested in learning self-defense. She simply never felt the timing was right, until now. Fitcom first entered her life through social media — she kept seeing Fitcom’s ads across her Facebook feed. Eventually, curiosity won, and she decided to step in and experience it for herself.

The beginning was not easy. One of MJ’s earliest challenges was surprisingly simple: remembering the names of movements and exercises. Even today, she laughs that she still “agak-agak” sometimes and relies on body memory. Physically, the bigger challenge was the intensity — feeling completely drained after the first workout, then going straight into Muay Thai training right after, pushed her far beyond her comfort zone.

There was no shortcut. MJ kept showing up. Session by session, her body adapted. She grew stronger, felt more energetic, and started noticing real changes — small wins that used to feel impossible. From 21 August 2024 to 12 September 2025, MJ reduced her body fat percentage from 39.3% to 30.4%. It was not a sudden shift, but a steady result of consistency, training, and the decision to keep going even when it felt tough.

More importantly, her mindset changed. MJ learned not to judge something based on opinions alone. “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” she said. Looking ahead, MJ’s goal is clear: she wants to be able to protect herself, and the people she cares about. Her message to anyone still hesitating is simple — do what you’ve always wanted to do. It’s never too late to begin.
